Launch of the 3D Fall Series, a series of workshops focused on Diversity and Inclusion, Dialogue and Employee Development

The QFTC is pleased to officially announce the launch of the 3D Fall Series, a series of workshops focused on Diversity and Inclusion, Dialogue and Employee Development.

This series is the 4th and final component of the Release Your Creativity project, developed with the support of the City of Montreal, AccessVFX:Montreal and our partner studios: Caribara, DNEG, Framestore, Method Studios, Reel FX and Technicolor (including its three brands Mikros, MPC and Mr X).

These workshops, which will take place online, are accessible free of charge and exclusively for QFTC members.

In order to preserve the interactive nature and quality of the workshops, the number of participants is limited to 20 to 30 per session.

The QFTC is pleased to participate in a new project launched by Netflix, #NetflixInYourNeighbourhood, which aims to highlight the filming locations of Canadian productions featured on the platform! Moviegoers will be able to search for locations by title or province, get directions to those destinations, and see how those locations have been featured on Netflix.

According to a recent study, Netflix audiences are 1.8 times more likely to have watched Canadian content than those who don't watch Netflix. And fans who have watched Canadian content are 2.1 times more likely to indicate that Canada is their favorite travel destination. For example, 78% of members who have seen the film Until the Fade, which was shot entirely in Quebec, indicated that they were more interested in Canada's nature and wildlife, and 66% of them mentioned that they were more interested in hiking and camping.
