RELAUNCH MTL | WORKING TOGETHER TO RELAUNCH CREATIVE INDUSTRIES

image

Combining arts, culture and technology, the cultural and creative industries have been contributing to the visibility of the city and its artists on the international scene for years.

Our creativity is increasingly recognized, and its benefits in terms of creating jobs and generating wealth contribute to a vibrant economy. The crisis has had a significant impact on many facts of these industries, be it film production and distribution, animation, special effects, video games, interactive installations, performing arts, visual arts or music.

While some have seen a downturn due to production chain disruptions or a more limited ability to reach audiences, others have continued to thrive, though they still face growth challenges. But for all industry players, some key issues remain, particularly the availability of skilled labour and targeted, appropriate financing.

Join us for the Strategic Forum on Cultural and Creative Industries as part of the Relaunch MTL movement, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal. Join the movement and take part in the recovery of our sector!
