Last Thursday, the Chair of the Board of Directors, Ms. Émilie Dussault, and the CEO, Mr. Pierre Moreau, unveiled the results of the year 2020-2021 to the members of the Québec Film and Television Council (QFTC) during the Annual General Meeting presented by its official partner, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton (RCGT). The assembly also marked the official launch of the celebrations marking the Council's 15th anniversary.

The meeting was an opportunity to review the highlights of the year. The members of the QFTC also adopted a resolution allowing the creation of a new "Animation" seat on the Board of Directors.

To close the event, the Council was honoured to welcome as guest speakers Sébastien Moreau, President and CEO of Rodeo FX and Pierre Raymond, co-founder, senior advisor and ambassador of Hybride Technologies. These two great Quebec entrepreneurs had the opportunity to talk with Pierre Moreau about the success factors that have allowed their company to shine internationally and about the place of entrepreneurship in the visual effects industry in the province of Quebec.

The QFTC thanks its funders, partners and members for their ongoing support.
