Media Library ![]() Alain Gourd A member of the Quebec Bar and holder of a Masters in Arts (Philosophy), Alain Gourd is known for his success in the television and media domain. Throughout his career, Mr. Gourd has always been innovative in his work and maintained it to the highest level. He has gained a solid reputation in the industry. Most recently, Alain Gourd was the Group Executive Vice President of Bell Globemedia, Chairman of the Board and Chief Director of Bell Express Vu. He was also Chairman and Chief Director of BCE Media and Cancom. In the 1990’s, Alain Gourd was the Associate Secretary and Assistant Clerk of the Privy Council Office, Deputy Minister of the Public Affairs of the Federal-Provincial Relations Office and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Communications, all with the Government of Canada. Likewise, Mr. Gourd has sat on multiple Councils such as the Outdoor Life Network. He was as well the Vice President of the Canadian Film Center Board and of Télévision Quatre Saisons. Alain Gourd is presently a member of the Banff Festival Board and President of the Board of Directors of the annual Canadian Radio-Television Summit. ![]() Hans Fraikin Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Marketing, Mr. Fraikin has occupied several key positions within the film and television industry in Asia and Europe (with Twentieth Century Fox). He was also involved in the start-up of two IT companies in France. Most recently he served as Director of Telefilm Canada’s European office. Mr. Fraikin brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the QFTC, in addition to his proven expertise in international business development. English Version French Version |
